Eligibility

● St. Charles County resident
● Proof of enrollment in at least 6 credit hours in a post-high school accredited program
● Attend the SCCDCC awards ceremony on August 9, 2024

 

 

Part A: Required Personal Information

  • Applicant name, street address, city & zip code, phone & email address

  • Proof of residency (ID, utility statement, or mail)

  • High School attended & graduation date (or GED Date)

  •  Transcript/grade reports (optional)

  •  College/post-secondary institution with proof of enrollment

  • Planned dates of enrollment (must include the first semester of the 2024-25 school year)

 

Part B: Supporting Information

  • Extracurricular school activities/clubs in the past three years

  • List the activity, awards, offices held, dates of participation, verification of

  • participation (team photo, award copies, etc), or letter of reference.

  • Civic/community activities (clubs, organizations, projects) in the past three years

  • Name of the group/organization, activities, offices held, verification of

  • participation or letter of reference.

  • Employment history for the past three years

  • Include hours worked per week and verification or a letter from the employer.


 

Part C: Questions to be answered in a 5-7 minute video

  1. Why are equal voting rights meaningful?

  2. How do you intend to use your education to contribute to the betterment, of your community?

  3. Besides a parent or guardian, who has been the most influential person in your life, and why?

received by June 15, 2024**
